The Herndon Braves (19-21) put in a full day's work in a 12-inning, 6-5 win over the Vienna River Dogs (21-19) Sunday at James Madison High School.

With the score tied at five in the twelfth inning, Alan Mocahbee came to the plate and homered.

Mocahbee rocked the Vienna River Dogs with two home runs. Mocahbee went 2-6 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Mocahbee homered in the fifth and twelfth innings.

The Vienna River Dogs couldn't get anything going so long as Mitch Aker was on the hill. The Vienna River Dogs managed just two hits off of Aker, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Tyler Tharp got on base three times in the game for the Vienna River Dogs. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He doubled in the sixth inning.

Jordan Sergent (0-1) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
