The Gaithersburg Giants (11-24) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Alexandria Aces (16-17) captured a blowout 15-7 win in seven innings at Criswell Automotive Field.

The Alexandria Aces scored seven runs in the sixth on the Alexandria Aces scored in the sixth on a hit by pitch, an RBI single by Beau Hall, a three-run triple by Brett Netzer, and a two-run single by Tad Sobieszczanski.

Netzer racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Alexandria Aces.

Casey Saverio reached base three times. He singled in the second inning.

Jake Wersinger got the win, running his season record to 4-2. He allowed four runs over five innings. Wersinger struck out five, walked none and gave up six hits.

Isaac Hutto (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
