Daniel DiMatteo racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Herndon Braves. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.
Michael Mioduszewski had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the second and third innings and doubled in the first and seventh innings.
Chase Bailey improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Herndon Braves. He allowed three runs over 2 1/3 innings. Bailey struck out three, walked none and gave up four hits.
Ryne Veenema ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked two and struck out one.
