The Fairfield Indians didn't have a chance on Thursday, as the Top Speed Baseball (10-2) won in blowout fashion, 17-4 at Alan Witt Park.

The Top Speed Baseball scored five runs in the sixth on the Top Speed Baseball scored in the sixth on a two-run double by Chris Miguel, a single by Adam Vasil, an RBI single by Dom Deville, and an RBI single by Nick Rau.

Steven Knudson racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Top Speed Baseball. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Michael Slifer pitched lights out for the Top Speed Baseball. The Fairfield Indians managed just two hits off of Slifer, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Timmion Hughes was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
