Brian Campbell collected three hits, helping the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (23-14) to a 7-5 victory over the Seacoast Mavericks (12-23) on Saturday at Vineyard Baseball Park.

The Seacoast Mavericks couldn't get anything going as long as Mac Curran was pitching. Curran held the Seacoast Mavericks hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Ryan Gendron racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Kevin Martinis recorded his first win of the year for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. Martinis struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Evan Flanagan (2-2) took the loss for the Seacoast Mavericks. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
