Willie Allen went 2-4 as the Worcester Bravehearts (15-21) took home a 3-2 victory over the Bristol Blues (22-15) at Fitton Field on Friday.

Greg Stagani baffled the Bristol Blues, striking out six batters. Stagani allowed no earned runs, four hits and one walk over five innings.

Despite the loss, the Bristol Blues' Tim Cate dominated the Worcester Bravehearts' batters, giving up one run and striking out eight.

Clayton Dostal recorded his fourth win of the year for the Worcester Bravehearts. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Ty Robinson was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
