Five first-inning runs helped the Bristol Blues (21-12) to a 5-4 win over the North Shore Navigators (19-14) at Muzzy Field on Sunday.

The Bristol Blues scored in the first on an RBI single by Christian Budzik, an RBI single by Gerrad Rohan, a two-run double by Ryan Costello, and a sacrifice fly by Liam Scafariello.

Costello racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Bristol Blues.

George Lund improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Bristol Blues. He allowed two runs over five innings. Lund struck out eight, walked four and gave up five hits.

Steve Xirinachs was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
