The Torrington Titans (10-13) beat the Worcester Bravehearts (9-16) 7-2 on Saturday at Fuessenich Park behind Dean Lockery, who had two extra base hits.

It was a good day at the plate for the Worcester Bravehearts' Charlie Ameer. Ameer went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning.
Frank Valentino got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed two runs over six innings. Valentino struck out six, walked none and gave up seven hits.
Mike Bruemmel ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
The Torrington Titans' Jeremy Pena, Cody Doyle, Lockery and Nick Lamberti combined for nine hits and five RBIs.
