Tyler Packanik went 2-5, helping the Bristol Blues (10-8) to a 3-2 victory over the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (6-11) on Thursday at Muzzy Field.

Kyle Dube handled the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' lineup with ease, racking up three strikeouts. Dube allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk over five innings.

A bright spot for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs in the defeat was Zach Zona, who allowed only two runs while striking out six.

Robert Paccione improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Bristol Blues. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Kevin Hassett ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
