The Torrington Titans (8-6) needed 10 innings on Wednesday to take down the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (9-6) 4-2 at Vineyard Baseball Park.

With the score tied at two, Jeremy Pena came to the plate and doubled, plating Franklin Jennings.

Robbie Hitt brought the heat against the Marthas Vineyard Sharks during his outing. The Marthas Vineyard Sharks managed just three hits off of Hitt, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Brian Campbell led the Marthas Vineyard Sharks' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Ray Krieger improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. He struck out three, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Dylan Dennis (1-1) took the loss for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
