The North Shore Navigators (4-4) and the Bristol Blues (4-4) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the North Shore Navigators that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 5-3 win at Fraser Field.

Taso Stathopolous picked up the win for the North Shore Navigators. Stathopolous allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks while striking out four over six innings of work.

Gerrad Rohan reached base three times. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Steve Wallace (0-1) took the loss for the Bristol Blues. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
