The Torrington Titans (7-6) and the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (6-9) both had scoring chances on Thursday, but it was the Torrington Titans that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 10-5 win at Doyle Field.

Joe Paparelli racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Torrington Titans. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Kurtis White reached base four times. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Taylor Luciani recorded his first win of the year for the Torrington Titans. He allowed three runs over five innings. Luciani struck out five, walked one and gave up six hits.

AJ Celentano was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked five, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
