Andrew Bullock went 1-2, sparking the Piedmont Pride (30-6) to a 3-1 victory in seven innings over the Concord Weavers (8-30) on Wednesday at Winthrop University.

Despite the loss, the Concord Weavers' RJ Merli dominated the Piedmont Pride's batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.

Drew Bolick improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Piedmont Pride. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out none, walked three and surrendered two hits.

Merli couldn't get it done on the bump for the Concord Weavers, taking a loss.
