Peter Sitaras went 1-2 and hit a home run, helping the Statesville Owls (17-21) to a 4-1 victory over the Concord Weavers (9-31) on Friday at Statesville High School.
He homered in the first inning.Nick Boyles had an impressive outing against the Concord Weavers' lineup. The Concord Weavers managed just three hits off of the the Statesville Owls' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Colton Laws (2-3) took the loss for the Concord Weavers. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
