Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the SBA Bones (16-10) outscored the Carolina Vipers (14-15) 14-11 in 12 innings.
The two teams combined for 35 hits in the game.
Ryder Ryan racked up three RBIs on two hits for the SBA Bones. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the twelfth inning.
Ryan Ross put together a nice outing. The Carolina Vipers managed just one hit off of Ross, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out seven during his 4 2/3 innings of work.
Brandon Leonard ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
The SBA Bones hammered the Carolina Vipers pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 17 hits, 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
