The Piedmont Pride (19-4) continued to pile up the runs on Monday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 15-0 win over the Statesville Owls (10-12) at Statesville High School.

The Piedmont Pride scored six runs in the first on the Piedmont Pride scored in the first on an RBI single by Jeff Thompson, an RBI single by Andrew Bullock, an RBI single by Bullock, a passed ball, and a two-run single by Tanner Poole.

Poole racked up six RBIs on five hits for the Piedmont Pride.

The Piedmont Pride got the win thanks in large part to Adam Pennington's dominant, seven-strikeout performance. The Piedmont Pride's pitcher gave up just three hits over four shutout innings.

Mo Foster (1-3) took the loss for the Statesville Owls. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked three and struck out two.
