Ryder Ryan was strong at the plate and on the bump in carrying the SBA Bones (14-7) to a 6-2 victory over the Concord Weavers on Monday at Charlotte Christian.
Ryan led the SBA Bones' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.
Ryan put together a nice outing. The Concord Weavers (6-19) managed just one hit off of Ryan, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his three innings of work.
Andrew Loepprich improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the SBA Bones. He allowed one run over five innings. Loepprich struck out one, walked none and gave up four hits.
Josh Bottenfield ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
