Andrew Bullock went 2-4, helping the Piedmont Pride (11-3) to a 3-1 victory over the Carolina Vipers (7-7) on Wednesday at Charlotte Latin.

Ryan Rigby put together a nice outing. Rigby held the Carolina Vipers hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Despite the loss, the Carolina Vipers' Zach Huneycutt dominated the Piedmont Pride's batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.

Michael Gilroy recorded his first win of the year for the Piedmont Pride. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Huneycutt couldn't get it done on the hill for the Carolina Vipers, taking a loss.
