The Piedmont Pride (5-2) and the Carolina Vipers (6-4) both had scoring chances on Friday, but it was the Piedmont Pride that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 11-6 win at Charlotte Latin.

Drew Bolick recorded his first win of the year for the Piedmont Pride. He allowed three runs over four innings. Bolick struck out four, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Philip Perry couldn't get it done on the bump for the Carolina Vipers, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
The Piedmont Pride's Jake Barbee, Austin Stout, Jaden Savage and Roberts combined for six hits and four RBIs.
