Jake Rogers collected three hits, helping the Hyannis Harbor Hawks (23-18) to a 6-2 victory over the Cotuit Kettleers (16-26) on Friday at Lowell Park.
He singled in the second, sixth, and seventh innings.Thomas Burrows got the win for the Hyannis Harbor Hawks thanks to six strikeouts. Burrows allowed one earned run on four hits and one walk over five innings.
Will Haynie was solid at the plate for the Cotuit Kettleers. Haynie went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and homered in the eighth inning.
Austin Sexton was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
