He singled in the first, third, and ninth innings.Eric Lauer baffled the Harwich Mariners, striking out nine batters. Lauer allowed one earned run on four hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings.
Eder Erives improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Orleans Firebirds. Erives struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.
Zach Schellenger couldn't get it done on the hill for the Harwich Mariners, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
