A magnificent effort by Trevor Walch hoisted the Evansville Otters (22-14) to a 1-0 win over the Frontier Greys on Wednesday at Bosse Field.

Walch racked up nine strikeouts in the the Evansville Otters win. The Evansville Otters' pitcher tossed eight innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Despite the loss, the Frontier Greys (16-18)'s Justin DAlessandro dominated the Evansville Otters' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out six.

Nick McBride was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
