Mark Micowski collected four hits as the Normal CornBelters (30-22) took home a 7-2 victory over the Evansville Otters (34-18) at Bosse Field on Thursday.

Kevin Brahney got the win for the Normal CornBelters thanks to 10 strikeouts. Brahney allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over six innings.

Nik Balog went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Evansville Otters. He singled in the first, third, and eighth innings.

Tyler Vail ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked five, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
