The Matsu Miners (30-9) built an early edge on Saturday, but the Chugiak Chinooks (16-23) roared back to steal a 2-1 victory at Hermon Brothers Field.

An RBI double by Hunter Hanks gave the Chugiak Chinooks the lead in the fifth inning.

Ted Christie had an impressive outing against the Matsu Miners' lineup. The Matsu Miners managed just two hits off of Christie, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his five innings of work.

Travis Stone recorded his second win of the year for the Chugiak Chinooks. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Zebastian Valenzuela was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
