Tanner Nishioka had three RBIs as the Matsu Miners (15-4) took home a 5-1 victory over the Chugiak Chinooks (10-11) at Loretta French Field on Wednesday.
He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.The Chugiak Chinooks had no answer for James Harrington, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Chugiak Chinooks managed just three hits off of Harrington, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out two during his six innings of work.
Grant Page (1-2) took the loss for the Chugiak Chinooks. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
