The Matsu Miners (13-4) continued to pile up the runs on Monday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 13-2 landslide win over the Chugiak Chinooks (10-9) at Hermon Brothers Field.

Vance Vizcaino got on base five times in the game for the Matsu Miners. He scored four runs and had one RBI. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.

Kyle Simonds pitched lights out for the Matsu Miners. The Chugiak Chinooks managed just three hits off of the the Matsu Miners' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked four and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Lucas Hamelink couldn't get it done on the mound for the Chugiak Chinooks, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out two.
