Conner Menez kept the Matsu Miners (12-4) off the board during his six innings of work and the Chugiak Chinooks (10-8) beat the Matsu Miners, 2-0.

Menez allowed two hits, two walks and struck out nine.

Despite the loss, the Matsu Miners' Zach Warren dominated the Chugiak Chinooks' batters, giving up one run and striking out nine.

Warren was charged with his first loss of the year.
