Matt Diorio went 1-1 as the Matsu Miners (33-11) took home a 5-2 victory over the Peninsula Oilers (20-25) at Coral Seymour Memorial Park on Saturday.

He singled in the third inning.

James Harrington baffled the Peninsula Oilers, striking out three batters. Harrington allowed one earned run on four hits and no walks over five innings.

James Fowlkes paced the Peninsula Oilers at the plate. Fowlkes went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.
