The Matsu Miners scored in the third on a single by Alex Caruso, a sacrifice fly by Brick Paskiewicz, a triple by Matt Diorio, a single by Tanner Nishioka, a single by Hunter Simmons, an RBI single by Simmons, a single by Zack Plunkett, and a single by Jake Schleppenbach.
Simmons got a hit in each of his four at bats.
James Harrington improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Matsu Miners. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered six hits.
Conner Dotson couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Peninsula Oilers, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out one.
