The Anchorage Bucs make the most of 5 hits in 5-2 victory over the Peninsula Oilers

The Anchorage Bucs (21-19) and the Peninsula Oilers (16-22) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Anchorage Bucs that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-2 win at Coral Seymour Memorial Park.

Quin Grogan racked up eight strikeouts in the the Anchorage Bucs win. Grogan allowed one earned run on seven hits and one walk over nine innings.

Joe Mata had an impressive outing against the Anchorage Bucs' lineup. Mata gave up just two hits, allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Shane Ennis (0-2) took the loss for the Peninsula Oilers. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
