Jeremy McDonald kept the Peninsula Oilers (15-21) off the board during his six innings of work and the Anchorage Bucs (20-18) beat the Peninsula Oilers, 7-0.
McDonald allowed five hits, one walk and struck out seven.
The offense exploded for the the Anchorage Bucs in the fifth. The Anchorage Bucs' bats caught fire leading to six runs. The Anchorage Bucs scored in the fifth on a fielder's choice, a two-run single by Brodie Leftridge, an RBI single by Andrew Montoya, a groundout by Stephan Trosclair, a single by Brenn Conrad, and an RBI single by Taylor Jones.
David Diaz (2-4) took the loss for the Peninsula Oilers. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out three.
