Quin Grogan kept the Peninsula Oilers (12-11) off the board during his eight innings of work and the Anchorage Bucs (10-15) beat the Peninsula Oilers, 9-0.
Grogan struck out four and allowed two walks and six hits.
The Anchorage Bucs ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The Anchorage Bucs scored three runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. The Anchorage Bucs scored three runs in the seventh on the Anchorage Bucs scored in the seventh on a two-run triple by Zane Gurwitz and an RBI single by Justin Jacobs.
Gurwitz racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Bucs.
Conner Dotson (2-2) took the loss for the Peninsula Oilers. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
