The Seattle Studs couldn't capitalize on a great day from David Benson on Saturday, losing 1-0 to the Anchorage Bucs (6-9) in 11 innings at Mulcahy Field.

Benson kept the Anchorage Bucs off the board during his eight innings of work. Benson allowed two hits, three walks and struck out seven.

A walk-off solo blast by Stephen Lohr gave the Anchorage Bucs the win.

Lohr was hot from the plate for the Anchorage Bucs. Lohr went 1-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eleventh inning.

Ed Voyles got the win, running his season record to 1-1. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered six hits.

Taylor Thompson (0-2) took the loss for the Seattle Studs. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
