The Alaska Goldpanners (12-29) didn't put up much of a fight on Monday, as the Anchorage Bucs (24-19) cruised to a blowout 8-2 win in seven innings at Mulcahy Field.

The Anchorage Bucs scored three runs in the fifth on the Anchorage Bucs scored in the fifth on an RBI double by Brenn Conrad and a two-run error.

Jeremy McDonald brought the heat against the Alaska Goldpanners during his outing. The Alaska Goldpanners managed just two hits off of the the Anchorage Bucs' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his six innings of work.

Austin Bush racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alaska Goldpanners. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.

Alex Torson (0-4) took the loss for the Alaska Goldpanners. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
