James Harrington kept the Alaska Goldpanners (12-22) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Matsu Miners (27-8) beat the Alaska Goldpanners, 7-1.

Harrington allowed five hits, one walk and struck out six.

The biggest inning for the Matsu Miners was the fourth. In the inning the Matsu Miners scored four runs. The Matsu Miners scored in the fourth on a hit by pitch, a hit by pitch, a two-run single by Vance Vizcaino, and a double by Nyles Nygaard.

Matt Diorio put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Matsu Miners. He doubled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Joe Fernandez (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out eight, and allowed four runs.
