The Anchorage Glacier Pilots (25-20) beat the Matsu Miners (32-11) 4-3 on Thursday at Hermon Brothers Field behind Adalberto Carrillo, who went 1-1.

Jesse Stallings brought the heat against the Matsu Miners during his outing. The Matsu Miners managed just one hit off of the the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Calvin LeBrun was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Anchorage Glacier Pilots batters and allowing zero runs.

Jake Schleppenbach was hot from the plate for the Matsu Miners. Schleppenbach went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Caleb McCann was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
