Alex Caruso went 2-4, sparking the Matsu Miners (32-10) to a 5-3 victory over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (24-20) on Wednesday at Hermon Brothers Field.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots couldn't get anything going as long as Zach Warren was pitching. The Anchorage Glacier Pilots managed just one hit off of the the Matsu Miners' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked two and struck out 10 during his six innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' Brett Brown dominated the Matsu Miners' batters, giving up zero runs and striking out five.

Kyle Watson racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He tripled in the sixth inning.

Nick Meservey (2-3) took the loss for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He lasted just four innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
