Kyle Simonds kept the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (15-17) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Matsu Miners (23-7) beat the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, 1-0.

Simonds struck out five and allowed two walks and four hits.

Despite the loss, the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' Nick Meservey dominated the Matsu Miners' batters, giving up one run and striking out six.

Meservey couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, taking a loss.
