Tanner Nishioka went 2-3, sparking the Matsu Miners (20-5) to a 5-4 victory over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (12-15) on Wednesday at Hermon Brothers Field.

Jack Anderson got on base four times in the game for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He singled in the third inning.

The Matsu Miners' lineup had no answer for Jesse Stallings. Stallings held the Matsu Miners hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

James Harrington improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Matsu Miners. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked five and surrendered three hits.

Nick Meservey (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
