Conner Menez held the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (4-8) scoreless for six innings to boost the Chugiak Chinooks (9-4) to a 1-0 victory.

Menez struck out five and allowed four walks and one hit.

Matt Dennis was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Chugiak Chinooks batters and allowing one run.

Dennis (0-1) took the loss for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots.
