Alex Caruso went 2-4, helping the Matsu Miners (10-2) to a 5-3 victory over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (3-7) on Sunday at Mulcahy Field.

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots had no answer for Brigham Hill, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Hill gave up just two hits, allowed two earned runs, walked three and struck out six during his five innings of work.

Wes Judish brought the heat against the Matsu Miners during his outing. Judish held the Matsu Miners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Corbin Martin improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Matsu Miners. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Jordan Aboites (1-1) took the loss for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
