Zach Warren hopes every outing could go as well as Friday, as Warren threw 6 2/3 scoreless innings to carry the Matsu Miners (7-2) to a 2-0 victory over the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (3-4) at Mulcahy Field in seven innings.
Nyles Nygaard went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Matsu Miners. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.
Drake Robison allowed one earned run, eight hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.
Robison couldn't get it done on the hill for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, taking a loss.
