The Anchorage Glacier Pilots make the most of 6 hits in 4-3 victory over the Matsu Miners

The Anchorage Glacier Pilots (19-17) and the Matsu Miners (26-8) both had scoring chances on Tuesday, but it was the Anchorage Glacier Pilots that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 4-3 win at Hermon Brothers Field.

Jonny Locher had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Jack Labosky pitched lights out for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots. Labosky held the Matsu Miners hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out none.

Byron Hood had an impressive outing against the Anchorage Glacier Pilots' lineup. The Anchorage Glacier Pilots managed just one hit off of Hood, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Brett Brown got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.

James Harrington couldn't get it done on the hill for the Matsu Miners, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
