A walk-off single from Joey Leavitt brought home the winning run for the Xenia Scouts (3-1) in a 6-5 victory over the Lima Locos (1-2) at Gradys Field on Sunday.

Leavitt had a hot bat for the Xenia Scouts. Leavitt went 0-0 and scored one run. He singled in the ninth inning.

Michael Emodi racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lima Locos. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Benjamin Aldridge improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Xenia Scouts. He allowed two runs over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Seth Kinker ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
