The Grand Lake Mariners (3-0) and the N Ohio Baseball Club (2-2) each put runners in scoring position on Saturday, but the Grand Lake Mariners capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 7-2 win at Mills Field.

Aaron Bence racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Grand Lake Mariners. He singled in the third inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Alex Anders picked up the win for the Grand Lake Mariners. Anders allowed no earned runs, seven hits and two walks while striking out three over seven innings of work.

Brandon Wright (0-1) took the loss for the N Ohio Baseball Club. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
