Tanner Johnson went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Licking County Settlers (3-0) to a 7-2 victory over the Galion Graders (0-2) on Friday at Don Edwards Stadium.

Heath McRae had an impressive outing against the Galion Graders' lineup. McRae held the Galion Graders hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Cole Hendrix recorded his first win of the year for the Licking County Settlers. Hendrix struck out three, walked two and gave up one hit.

Tyler Hall couldn't get it done on the bump for the Galion Graders, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
