Both the N Ohio Baseball Club (1-0) and the Lorain County Ironmen (0-1) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the N Ohio Baseball Club that were able to take advantage, pulling out an 8-5 win at Mills Field.

J.P Sorma racked up four RBIs on one hit for the N Ohio Baseball Club. He singled in the first inning.

The Lorain County Ironmen couldn't get anything going so long as Thomas Rolle was on the hill. The Lorain County Ironmen managed just one hit off of the the N Ohio Baseball Club's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Cole Nieto racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Lorain County Ironmen. He singled in the fourth and ninth innings.

Jacob Nappi couldn't get it done on the mound for the Lorain County Ironmen, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
