The Licking County Settlers (3-0) scored five runs in the eighth to cap a 13-4 win over the Galion Graders (0-2) on Thursday.

The Licking County Settlers scored in the eighth on a hit by pitch, a two-run single by Will Daniels, a solo home run by Zak DeCamp, , and a single by Dylan Calhoun.

DeCamp racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Licking County Settlers.

The Galion Graders couldn't get anything going so long as Devin Carr was on the hill. The Galion Graders managed just one hit off of Carr, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Tim Mulvey recorded his first win of the year for the Licking County Settlers. He allowed two runs over three innings. Mulvey struck out three, walked none and gave up five hits.

Will Ore couldn't get it done on the mound for the Galion Graders, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
