Justin Wylie collected three hits as the Quincy Gems (20-28) took home an 11-7 victory over the Springfield Sliders (23-24) at Robin Roberts Field on Saturday.
He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth and sixth innings.Brett Charbonneau racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Springfield Sliders. He tripled in the ninth inning.
J.T. Baksha improved to 2-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Quincy Gems. He allowed four runs over six innings. Baksha struck out three, walked two and gave up seven hits.
Lewie Applegate (1-2) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out three.
