Both the Ontario (5-0) and the Manitoba (2-2) put runners aboard on Sunday, but it was the Ontario that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 7-6 win at Stade Arvida.

Lindsay Wilcox led the Ontario's offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He singled in the third innings.

Jenna Hillman pitched lights out for the Ontario. The Manitoba managed just two hits off of Hillman, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five during his three innings of work.

Katelyn Heppner put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Manitoba. He doubled in the first and fourth innings.

Brittany Langlais (0-2) took the loss for the Manitoba. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
